At twenty years old, Monica, the English major, decides to step on a plane alone to live and teach across the world for one summer. She leaves behind friends, family, and her dog to follow her somewhat delusional vision of soul-searching in Southeast Asia. She documents her travels and trials here, hoping to make sense of it all, wondering where she found the courage to do this. The universe shrugs in response. Usually, she writes at Free Moon, but for this summer, she transforms into Vietnam Moon.
